Recently, at the invitation of the National Engineering Research Center for Communication and Network Technology and the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Professor Abbas Jamalipour of the University of Sydney, came to visit our university, and carried out 4-day academic exchanges at NJUPT, and was awarded as an honorary professor by Professor Yang Zhen, the Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Communication and Network Technology.

During the visit, Professor Jamalipour made an academic report entitled UAV-Assisted Wireless Communications For Public Safety, and discussed UAV Communication’s application and progress in public security. He attended the symposium held by the School of Communication and Information Engineering for youth teachers, and shared years of experience in scientific and academic research. In the report “How To Do Great Research With Impact”, which elucidated how to make influential academic research from various aspects, including problem discovery, research procedure and paper writing. Also, Professor Jamalipour participated in the graduate seminar organized by the School of Communication and Information Engineering.
